Rimmel Exaggerate Waterproof Eye Definer in Emerald Sparkle | Review

Rimmel Exaggerate Waterproof Eye Definer in Emerald Sparkle eyeliner Review

Rimmel Exaggerate Waterproof Eye Definer in Emerald Sparkle | Review green eyeliner

I have been attempting to branch out of my comfort zone when it comes to eye make-up, and what greater way to do so than opting for a bit of coloured eyeliner. I chose to use the Rimmel Exaggerate eyeliner to do this, as soon as I went across to the Rimmel counter in Boots I just fell in love with the colour! It is a gorgeous emerald green, fittingly called 'Emerald Sparkle', that is perfect for brown eyes or anyone who want to experiment with their eye makeup.

With a twist up packaging, I am pleased to say that there is no need to frequently sharpen he product to get the fine line you desire. However, I do find that because of this, the product does often break if it is placed in a warm area for too long which can get pretty annoying. Other than that, I really like the overall design, especially with the mini sponge tip on the other end, perfect for blending out any harsh lines for a lovely smoked effect.

The product itself is a really nice formula. It goes on smoothly and blends quite nicely for a softer eyeliner finish. You can build up the intensity which I love to do depending on the look I'm going for. But again, be careful as the nib does tend to break depending on how much pressure you use. It lasts relatively all day but I do tend to see it fade a little as time passes. I think it works great as a complimentary product to any eyeshadow you use and and adds something a little diverse to your look.

Body Shop Haul | Vitamin E Toner, Body Butter, Body Lotion and Body Oil

The Body Shop is just one of those places where there is always something enticing on offer. Of course I just had to buy a few things, all of which I adore.

Vitamin E Toner: This is actually a repurchase as I find it s one of the few toners that are kind to my sensitive and dry skin. It does what it says on the tin, and cleans my skin to leave it feeling refreshed. I don't use this every day but a few times a week depending on how my skin is looking. Its lovely and gentle with no strong scent and is great for brightening. Check out my full review here.

Blueberry body butter: The Body Shop's body butters are probably my favourite! Not only are they affordable, with frequent offers always on, but the scents are just amazing. I have had quite a few different ones in my time but this blueberry one is the one I am completely loving right now. It reminds me of some sweets for some reason, which I find so fresh and uplifting. The product itself is great quality, providing loads of moisture in the thickness of its formula that absorbs nicely into the skin.

Grapefruit body lotion: Another scent that I love are the grapefruit ones which again is a lovely and fruity scent. This time I bought a lotion which I find to be a more handy one for everyday use. Its a lot thinner than the body butters but still provides enough moisture and scent, even to use on my dry skin.

Lemon Body Oil: I've only just started using this but so far I am really loving it. Its a body oil with a lovely citrusy but light sent to it. Its an oil so it moisturises my skin really nicely but its not too greasy or thick that would your skin sticky under your clothes (which is just the worst, especially when you've just had a shower!). I really like this product and you can even use it in the bath, which would be a lovely thing to do when you've organised a pamper night for yourself.
