Body oils are pretty great for your body. They nourish your skin more intensely than your average moisturiser and feel great on the skin. I love using them as part of my pampering routine and would totally recommend you add them to yours too. Here's why:

They help to restore your body's natural oils: Oils nourish your skin and provide extra hydration, which is often a must during the harsh winter months.

They enable long-lasting scent: Often the oil itself is scented and can last on the skin for quite a while. You can also use the oil as a base to enhance the scent of your perfume and make it last longer.

They can reduce stretch marks: Oils like bio-oil are marketed to reduce blemishes and stretch marks, as do a lot of other oils, by nourishing the skin, healing the skin, and improving its elastcity.

They can be used for hair too: Oils are great to use on hair either after its been washed or as a deep conditioning hair mask.

And are great for the face: I swear my coconut oil as a night-time facial oil - it not only brightens the skin but nourishes it too, leaving it soft and hydrated.

And nails: Applying oil to nails will soften cuticles and make them stronger and healthier, making them less prone to breakage.

Best ways to use oils: The best time to apply body oils is after a hot shower when your pores are open and your skin is need of hydration. You can also add them to baths as part of a relaxng pamper evening, particularly scented ones.
